Jackalope Bandana

The legend of the jackalope has haunted the American Plains since the early 1930's. Tales of a jackrabbit with deer antlers that could sing along with campfire tunes and run up to 90 miles an hour, have been topics of conversation for cowpunchers to this day. The legend hit a peak when taxidermy creations were created by brothers in Wyoming and sold to tourists visiting the American West. What most scholars believe is that these were early sightings of Shope papillomavirus which causes hornlike tumors to protrude from a jackrabbits head. But who knows, it's fun to think there might actually be a jackalope out there runnin' around.
